Objects in Mirror Are More Heroic Than They Appear

I have a love/hate relationship with mirrors.

One minute, they’re showing you your best self (perfect lighting, good hair, curves that could cause accidents), and the next, they’re reflecting all those doubts you’ve been carrying around like an overstuffed backpack on a super hot day.

Here’s the plot twist...what you see in the mirror? It’s not the full story.

Maybe you’re catching glimpses of imposter syndrome, a little self-doubt, or that sneaky voice that gets you to look away. What if behind all that, there’s a hero ready to emerge?

Your true self is there AND it’s way stronger than the doubt you’ve been staring at.

I’ve been there too. I used to catch my reflection in the mirror or a window and would immediately look away. It extended to videos and photos, too. It was too hard to see myself.

It also meant I was taking away my ability to really SEE myself.

I put in the work with coaching, therapy, and kept stepping out of my comfort zone.

One day, I looked in the mirror and just started dancing. DANCING! It just happened! Sometimes I even catch myself smiling, winking, pointing, and honestly kind of flirting with myself.

In the reflection, behind those doubts keeping me away? I found strengths I’d been ignoring all along. I didn’t need a new mirror...I needed a new perspective.

Maybe you’re seeing some familiar foes in your mirror like imposter syndrome or fear of failure. Ones that whisper, “Who do you think you are?”

The truth...those doubts are just shadows. They’re not the whole picture. Your potential? Now that’s the real deal.

I know, facing the mirror can feel like a boss battle. But here’s the thing...behind all those shadows is the hero you’ve always been, ready to take the next step.

You don’t have to go solo. Let’s team up and tackle those doubts together. I’ve helped plenty of heroes just like you go from “I’m not sure” to “I’ve got this,” and I’d love to help you do the same.

Final Thought:

The hero’s journey starts with seeing yourself clearly. Sometimes that means staring down some doubts, but it’s also about realizing you’ve had the strength all along.

So, are you ready to see what your mirror’s really reflecting?
